Many thanks to you and the City of Sunny Isles Beach for showcasing

the talent of Mira Feldman in the concert on Sunday, February 6,

and providing such an enjoyable afternoon.

Once again, she wowed the audience!

We appreciated her musicality as well as her informative program notes

( well delivered by Mayor Edelcup!) and charming personality.

Mira's musical theme of "Love Passed, the Muse Appeared" was enhanced

by her nifty idea of an accompanying slide show.

We look forward to Mira's next concert.

Thank you from your neighbors in Aventura.
Sincerely,
Barbara and Peter Reaveley

Your performance "Love passed, the Muse Appeared" was beyond words. I enjoyed it immensely.

Wishing you all the best.

“May I Have The Pleasure?”

Russian-born Pianist Wows the Sunny Isles Audience.

Miami Beach, Florida – Dec. 11, 2010 – Damira Feldman, a vivacious Russian-born pianist, charmed an audience of classical music lovers in a piano concert dedicated to the dance.

Playing flawlessly works by Weber, Rameau, Lully, Zipoll and Bach, Feldman demonstrated how their music influenced and informed dance through the 17thand 18th Centuries.

The diminutive pianist was particularly adept in playing works by Chopin, Albeniz, Rachmaninoff and Strauss-A. Schulz-Evler.

The Program was elegantly enhanced by the presence of a large-screen projection of the Art works by Edgar Degas, Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, Nicolass Poussin, Pieter Bruegel the Elder and Nicolas Lancret. From the delicate, graceful Baroque dances Allemande, Courante, Menuet, Rigaudon and Gigue to the graceful Waltz and Mazurka, to the fiery Tango  - each of the dances was illustrated by paintings of the era as well as of the composers themselves.

Especially compelling were the rarely-seen illustrations from “The Choregraphie” by Raoul Auger Feuillet (1700) which were conceived as a method whereby courtiers of the Royal court of King Louis XIV could learn the fashionable dances of the French nobility.

Feldman will appear in three more concerts in the series “Behind The Piano Scores,” produced and staged by the City of Sunny Isles, a community just north of Miami Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. The next Concert ““Love passed, the Muse appeared…” -The central players in the love dramas of the classical composers is scheduled on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 3:00-4:30pm at Pelican Community Center, Sunny Isles Beach.

We are a group of women called the Culture Vultures who have dedicated ourselves to bringing art, culture and thought-provoking programs to Broward County.  We do this completely on a voluntary basis.  These programs are offered for free, with refreshments, and our presenters are top notch.

This past Sunday we had one such presenter by the name of Damira Feldman.  Damira does not only play the piano with such wonderful and delightful exuberance, but she is also intelligent and has immense charisma with the audience.  Her performance was so outstanding then she received a standing ovation.  They loved her arrangements and her complete performance.   Her seminar was interesting and exciting.  Damira was enjoyed by everyone who attended.

Anyone would be proud to feature Damira Feldman, and would be extremely lucky to have her perform for you.

Dear Mira,
Last Thursday, July 21 at her Sunny Isles Beach concert, from the moment that Mira stepped onto the stage, elegant in a white evening dress, the audience enjoyed a delightful evening. Mira chose a varied program including selections from Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Rachmaninoff as well as Lecuona. It was thrilling not only to hear but to see her fingers move nimbly, and in dazzling movements, over the piano keys. The audience responded to this beautiful music with standing ovations.

ON A MAGNIFICENT PERFORMANCE !!

Dearest Mira,

Jess and I as well as all of our Palace residents who attended your concert at Steinway Piano gallery

were ecstatic by your spectacular rendition of each Composers work that you performed and we were all out of breath when you finished these very arduous pieces especially with all of the gradation and volume you poured into each piece.

I am not a connoisseur when it comes to the Classics but my heart and my ears are my judges as to what is tremendous talent. You have it all my dear, you win over your audience by your talent and your sensitivity in your interpretation of the Composers music.  It must be extremely difficult on your senses and output of extreme energy as you fulfill their meaning to their individual pieces of music. It would be a disaster for you to give up at this juncture of your life because you have pursued competitions to be judged in, certainly there must be judges who recognize your talent and should introduce you to a higher level of performance because there must be a world of people waiting to just hear you perform. I say this out of love, admiration for you as a lovely human being and an extremely bright and sensitive person, don’t give up, please....for all our sakes.

We love you, Pearl and Jesse

"Dear Mira,

"You performed at our theatre last night - Delray Villas - and my husband and I enjoyed your performance immensely. My husband is a graduate of the Julliard School of Music in New York majoring in the trumpet and he is very critical of entertainers, but you passed with flying colors. Kudos to you!!! Anyone who hasn't seen you should put you on their to do list. Hope we see you again soon"

"Dear Mira Feldman,
I am one among the many who had the distinct pleasure of your performance at Delray Villas this past Saturday, August 16th
I feel it necessary to tell you that pleasure and appreciation you brought to me and many who were enchanted not only by your most obvious accomplishment at the piano, but the charm and exuberance of your personality. You ignited the room  with your brilliance, for which we all express our deepest thanks.
I can only hope this is not to be a "One Time Performance Only", and we may soon again enjoy the great pleasure of your many gifts and talent.
Most sincerely,
Frances Bassell

“My dear Mira - if I may just call you by your first name, your appearance at our Palace the other night was so fantastic that I must simply drop you a line. You were a breath of fresh air - not even to mention your expertise, your superb command of the nuances of the music, may it be classical or "pop" and your charm. Your love of music shone through - you so enjoyed performing that it was catching to us, the audience.
I wish you all the best and lots of luck and success at your new venture and I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you at the Palace in the very near future.”

Doris B. Rosenthal

“Dear Mira, Your performance last night thrilled me and was the best entertainment I've enjoyed since I've been living at Stratford Court.”
Claire Friedman

“Mira Feldman presented Classic piano recital here on Wednesday, September 04th. 2007
It was not the first time she performed here and as an attendee I can truthfully say that this was by far her best performance.
The reason being that her program was diversified those Chopin selections where both familiar and challenging.
The familiar melodies were received with enthusiasm and her final rendition of Medley from Fiddler on the roof plaid in a classical style was overwhelming, greeted with applause of appreciation. In addition to her musical ability she has very charming and likable personality which is manifested by evident pleasure and performing.”

Rabbi Symond Friedman

“We all enjoyed your performance very much and look forward to any future performances we can attend.
Thank you for sharing your talent and your enthusiasm and charm with us!”

Flora M. Rees and Wally, Stratford Court, Boca Raton

Mira
to the tune of Annie’s song by John Denver

You bring us together-
What ever the weather-
To join in an evening-
When we’ll laugh and we’ll sing!

We will sit round the table
Share smiles and good feelings
Bright laughter and happiness
We’re together again!

Another night with the Feldmans
Can’t wait for the music!
Will she play something Classic?
Or will it be new?

Remember the night she played Chopin?
She told us his story
Do you remember the Waltzes?
Will she play then again?

Or will she play something newer?
I would love some old show tunes!
So sit back and listen
Cause she’s at it again!

So let’s gather together
In anticipation
Watch this great talent
Performing-
Cause she’s playing again!

Oh, Mira, we love you!
Your spirit has moved us
We’re lucky we found you
So start playing again!

Paullete Bronstein.

Damira does a great job with our community residents by playing the piano with expertise, taking resident’s requests, explaining to our residents the historical meaning of specific tunes and their composers and helps us to market her shows internally within our facility.
